Sign and Wide Format Applications
Sign and wide format printing covers signs, plates and wider labels for panels, equipment and facilities. This guide describes the applications using the two documented specification listings in this area — SP650 for sign printing and LD168 for wide format — and states no width or speed for any model that lacks a documented listing.
Sign printing applications
Sign printers print signs and plates for panel marking, equipment marking and facility marking. SP650, the sign printer with a documented specification listing on its SP650 page, is listed at about 7 signs per minute using a 32x68mm sign as the example, with a 57mm effective print width and ABS/PVC signs, laminated signs and silver brushed stickers among its listed materials. SP350 and CS603 are listed by model name only on the sign printer category page, and SP650's figures are not applied to them. SP300 and SP600 are discontinued and are not presented as currently sold.
Wide format applications
Wide format printers cover wider identification printing, including sign printing and label engraving combinations. LD168, the wide format model with a documented specification listing on its LD168 page, is listed with single-label widths of 10–160mm and single-label lengths of 10–1000mm, with engraving and cutting as listed. CA300, CH203 and CL803 are listed by model name only, and LD168's figures are not applied to them. No vinyl-specific model is documented in the source material, so no model here is presented as a vinyl-only printer.
